Cryotherapy

Natural healing at a cellular level! Cryotherapy stimulates and supports optimal physical health, mental clarity, high performance and recovery by exposing the body to ultra-low temperatures. This increases blood circulation to your vital organs, essentially tricking your body into a state of survival mode, activating powerful self-healing and rejuvenation.

The positive effects of cryotherapy have been recognised for hundreds of years, but its’ absolute potential has only been discovered recently.  The efficiency of cryotherapy became popular for sufferers of a variety of disorders, as relief from inflammation, and to give a competitive edge in training.

We Offer Full Body Electrical Cryotherapy

Benefits

Recover from injuries, relieve stress, lose weight and significantly reduce signs of ageing. Cryotherapy is so much more than a treatment for pain and inflammation. It can superboost your metabolism, significantly reduce stress and anxiety, increase detoxification and cleansing, and raise endorphin levels for both mental and physical wellness.

Cryotherapy can help with:

Relieve muscle aches and pains for sports recovery

Accelerate injury and post surgery recovery

Aid in boosting your mood and increase energy levels

Flush toxins and reduce inflammation

Supports anti-ageing through stimulating collagen production

Tightens skin and reduces pore size, fine lines, and wrinkles

Boosts metabolism and blood circulation

Helps with body’s immune system

How does Cryotherapy work?

Electric cryotherapy is a dry cold, non-invasive process that uses an electric-powered cooling technique in the chamber that supplies pure cold air to maximise the cryotherapy experience.

Temperature up to -85C for up to 3 minutes. It activates a powerful survival mechanism that causes the blood vessels near the skin to contract (vasoconstriction) and re-route blood to major organs to maintain core body temperature.

During this process, your blood fills with oxygen, nutrients, and healing enzymes. Once the treatment finishes, the blood vessels dilate (vasodilation) and the enriched super-charged blood rushes back to your skin and muscle tissues. Oxygenated blood is circulated that boosts collagen production and anti-inflammatories are released to help relieve pain, soothe swollen joints, and speed up recovery.

In addition to anti-inflammatories, the release of ‘feel good’ endorphins mean you will leave Chill Wellness feeling positive, refreshed and energised.
